Dr. Janne Chuang is a Therapeutic Optometrist licensed by the Texas Optometry Board with a passion for exemplary patient care and education. She also has a special interest in dry eye treatment, aesthetics, and specialty contact lenses including for myopia control.

Dr. Chuang grew up in the suburbs of Houston and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She subsequently completed specialized training at a renowned optometric practice in Beverly Hills, as well as several community health centers in the greater Boston area and the VA hospital in Fresno, California.

Having grown up with poor eyesight with a need for glasses since the second grade, Dr. Chuang understands the importance of good vision and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and best experience possible. She is passionate about patient education so that patients can be empowered and informed about their eyes and any treatments, as well as strengthening the relationship between patient and doctor in the transactional environment of our world today.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Chuang enjoys photography, exploring new restaurants, baking and cooking, spending time with her family, and going on adventures with her corgi pup and toyger cat.
